Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi, Soke

Soke Masaaki Hatsumi is the 34th Soke (grandmaster) of Togakure Ninjutsu the most famous of the nine ryuha (lineages) and founder of the Bujinkan Dojo. He was a student of the last combat shinobi O'Sensei Toshitsugu Takamatsu.

Soke Hatsumi is the source of all teachings in the Bujinkan.

Shihan Robert F. Johnson

Sensei Johnson (far right), Ju-Godan (15th degree black belt) is the founder of the Bujinkan Indianapolis Dojo. He is a personal student of Soke Masaaki Hatsumi and travels to Japan bi-annually to train with Soke Hatsumi and the Japanese Shihan. Sensei Johnson is a retired Marion County Sheriff Deputy with over 25 years of dedicated service.

Sensei Johnson is Sensei George's teacher. In April of 2005 Sensei George had the privilege to accompany Sensei Johnson to train with Soke Hatsumi and the Japanese Shihan in Japan.

Sensei Johnson's teaching and guidance continues to aid Sensei George and all of his students on his and their musha shugyo.

Shidoshi Derrell Palmer

Sensei Palmer (on left), Hachidan (8th degree black belt), is a student of Shihan Robert Johnson.

Sensei Palmer has been an integral part of Sensei George's journey as a mentor, guide and a "brother in Budo". (Sensei George is on right)
